Mok: A Unique Office Space Design

Creating an Unprecedented Oriental Charm

This is the office space of a design studio located in an office building. The Mok project, designed by Chen Fengfeng and Jiang Baoyi, breaks away from traditional office forms and infuses Oriental elegance and charm. The designers aim to create a space that is not only functional but also visually captivating.

The Mok office space stands out with its unique features and strengths. It embraces contemporary art and explores the boundaries of sensory cognition and imaginary space. The suspended ceiling, designed to simulate a patio, enhances the visual sense of the space, creating a psychological illusion of richer spatial layers. It also acts as a spatial landscape, adding to the overall aesthetics of the design.

With a site area of 155 square meters, the Mok office space offers a variable and three-dimensional structure with rich layers. It conveys tranquility and elegance, providing a generous office atmosphere that allows individuals to feel connected to nature and find peace within.

The design team faced various challenges during the creation of the Mok office space. They focused on visual and emotional appeal rather than adhering to a particular style or source. The goal was to create a space that evokes a silent dialogue with its occupants, allowing them to pour their ideas and find their truest feelings.

Completed in September 2020 in Changle District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, the Mok office space has received recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2022. This prestigious award honors designs that exhibit creativity, resourcefulness, and technical excellence, contributing to improvements in quality of life.
